Homeschool

MOSI offers age-appropriate, hands-on science classes to help supplement science and technology skills each month!

Keep your child growing with monthly homeschool science experiences. MOSI offers SEED (science experience and enrichment days) for younger learners from 5-10 as well as SEED Technology classes for students 8-13. Or check out our special semester long Homeschool series in partnership with UF and Hillsborough County 4-H. Let us compliment your homeschool curriculum, and encourage hands-on exploration of STEAM topics (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics).

Classes are held monthly
Classes are held from 1pm-3pm
Classes are divided into four groups by age
Classes are only for students. We ask parents to make other arrangements during class
Pre-registration and payment required at least one (1) week in advance
Standard program fee: $24/program or $176 for all eight (8) sessions*
Member program fee: $18/program or $128 for all eight (8) sessions**Discounted bundled rate only available if registering for all eight (8) sessions at once

Cancellation Policy

All registrations subject to availability. MOSI reserves the right to cancel classes that have not met the minimum enrollment. Students will be placed in an alternative class when possible. If MOSI cancels a class, payment will be fully refunded. A 50% credit or refund may be granted for written requests made 13 or fewer days prior to the first day of the homeschool class. No refunds will be granted on or after the first session.

Science SEED Classes

What does it take to make a seed grow? Let MOSI help your child grow with our science experience and enrichment days, with our Homeschool SEED program. These are monthly enrichment classes for your child that compliment their homeschool curriculum with hands-on STEAM lessons. These are designed for younger learners between 5-10 years old.

Technology SEED Classes

These SEED Classes have an additional emphasis on technology as well as science compared to our regular science SEED classes. These are for older learners from 8-13 years old.

Special Series: UF Extension

MOSI has partnered with the University of Florida and Hillsborough County 4-H to offer two semesters of regular two-hour classes. Fall semester centers on Aerospace and Rocketry while Spring semester centers on Coding and Robotics.
