Overview

Homeschool

Keep your child growing with monthly homeschool science experiences. MOSI offers SEED (science experience and enrichment days) for younger learners from 5-10 as well as SEED Technology classes for students 8-13. Let us complement your homeschool curriculum, and encourage hands-on exploration of STEAM topics (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics).

SEED Science Classes

Classes are held monthly
Classes are held from 1pm-3pm
Classes are divided into two groups by age (Ages 5-7 and Ages 8-10)
Classes occur on Tuesday and Thursdays
Classes are only for students. We ask parents to make other arrangements during class
Pre-registration and payment required at least one (1) week in advance
Program fee is $25 per program
MOSI Member fee is $20 per program

SEED Technology Classes

Classes are held monthly
Classes are held from 10am-12pm
Classes are divided into two groups by age (Ages 8-10 and Ages 11-13)
Classes for ages 8-10 occur on Tuesdays. Classes for ages 11-13 occur on Thursdays.
Classes are only for students. We ask parents to make other arrangements during class
Pre-registration and payment required at least one (1) week in advance

Curious Kids (PreK)

Classes are held monthly
Classes are held from 10am-11:30AM
Classes are for ages 3-5
Parents are welcome to stay during class
Pre-registration and payment required at least two (2) weeks in advance
Program fee is $15 per program
MOSI Member fee is $10 per program

Cancellation Policy

Refunds for homeschool programs are only available before the registration deadline, so that your spot can be given to others on the waitlist. To request a refund, please email your request and reservation details to reservations@mosi.org

All registrations subject to availability. MOSI reserves the right to cancel classes that have not met the minimum enrollment. Students will be placed in an alternative class when possible. If MOSI cancels a class, payment will be fully refunded.

Ages 3-5

Curious Kids Preschool

It’s never too early to engage your curious preschoolers in science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM). Feel free to join your young scientist as they make predictions, test for results, and share their findings. Each class has an engaging science theme from dinosaurs to sound waves with developmentally appropriate activities designed to encourage exploration and nurture curiosity.

SEED Science Classes

What does it take to make a seed grow? Let MOSI help your child grow with our science experience and enrichment days, with our Homeschool SEED program. These are monthly enrichment classes for your child that complement their homeschool curriculum with hands-on STEAM lessons. These are designed for younger learners between 5-10 years old.
