Tampa Mayor Jane Castor to Cut Ribbon at Zydeco Brew Werks' MOSI Dining Venue
TAMPA - The Museum of Science & Industry (MOSI) is set to host a VIP ribbon-cutting event in collaboration with its new food and beverage partner, Zydeco Brew Werks, to unveil a dining venue on the MOSI campus. The event will take place on Tuesday, October 24, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony will be conducted by Tampa Mayor Jane Castor, with Temple Terrace Mayor Andy Ross among the distinguished guests.
Zydeco Brew Werks is at the forefront of this partnership, promising to infuse the New Orleans culinary experience into the heart of Tampa.
Their menu will feature a diverse range of dishes, including burgers, Cajun fries, smoked fish spread, and beignets, designed to cater to adult patrons. For younger visitors, the kids‘ menu will offer options such as hotdogs, mac and cheese, and chicken nuggets.
Additionally, Zydeco will open a full bar offering a selection of beer on tap, wine, and RTD cocktails. MOSI-inspired items, including the craft beers that made Zydeco famous, will be offered on a rotating basis.
“We chose to partner with Zydeco because of their strong track record for quality and service. Having a locally-owned option for MOSI guests will strengthen our visitor experience, and we hope to eventually expand operating hours to service the broader community as well,” says MOSI CEO John Graydon Smith.
“As a lifelong resident of Temple Terrace, I’m excited to help grow the dining and entertainment scene in this part of Tampa after seeing how Ybor City has continued to develop. Hopefully in time, Uptown near MOSI and USF will be a thriving destination like so many other neighborhoods in Hillsborough County,” says Zydeco owner J. Paul Pepin.
