MOSI Adds Two New Shows as Laser Taylor Swift Sells Out
Tampa, FL (May 15, 2025) – With Laser Taylor Swift selling out, MOSI is cranking up the volume—and the lasers—for two new epic laser shows: Laser Queen and Laser Pink Floyd: Dark Side of the Moon, debuting Friday, May 23 in MOSI’s all-new Saunders Planetarium & Digital Dome Theatre, the second-largest planetarium in the country.
Queen and Pink Floyd Set for May 23 After Swift Sellout Reveals Huge Demand for Laser Music Experiences
First, get ready to stomp your feet and belt out every word at Laser Queen (6:30 p.m.), a rock spectacle that transforms Queen’s biggest hits into an electrifying laser light experience.
From “We Will Rock You” to “Bohemian Rhapsody,” this immersive show celebrates the legacy of Freddie Mercury and Queen with stunning visuals and surround sound that fills the dome.
Later in the evening, audiences can settle in for Laser Pink Floyd: Dark Side of the Moon (8:15 p.m.), a visually captivating journey through one of rock’s most iconic albums. With mind-blowing laser effects synced to Pink Floyd’s legendary 1973 masterpiece, this show will transport viewers through space, sound, and sensation.
“After seeing how quickly Laser Taylor Swift sold out, it’s clear Tampa Bay is ready for more music-meets-science experiences,” said John Graydon Smith, President and CEO of MOSI. “Whether you’re a Swiftie, a classic rock fan, or just looking for something wildly different to do for a night out, these laser shows are unforgettable.”
Each show requires a separate ticket, but guests are welcome—and encouraged—to attend both for a full evening of rock and lasers!
Both shows will begin with a live star tour of the night sky.
Station House BBQ and a full-service bar will be available on-site until 8:30 PM.
(Please note: Food and drinks are not permitted inside the theatre.)
