Dr. Kailey McCain is an organismal physiologist and science communicator whose research explores how animals respond to environmental change. She recently earned her Ph.D. from the University of South Florida, where she studied house sparrows across multiple continents to understand how urbanization, biological invasions, and immune function shape wildlife health.
