Homeschool IFAS Special Series Detail

MOSI offers age-appropriate, hands-on science classes to help supplement science and technology skills each month!

MOSI has partnered with the University of Florida and Hillsborough County 4-H to offer a special six-part homeschool series for the spring. Spring semester’s theme is LEGO Robotics. These classes are held on the 3^rd and 4^th Tuesday of each month from 1 pm to 3 pm.

Spring Series

LEGO Robotics

Ages 8 - 14 | Series Fee: $60, Member Series Fee: $50 | 1pm - 3pm

The LEGO Robotics program is tailored for students in grades 2-8, offering an engaging hands-on experience in robotics and engineering concepts. Through interactive activities, students will build and explore robotic models while investigating real-world challenges and developing problem-solving skills. They will program, construct models, and observe their behavior, followed by opportunities to refine their designs, document their findings, and share their insights. This dynamic learning experience fosters creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork.

Class Dates: January 21 & 28, February 18 & 25, and March 11 & 25
