Overview

Da Vinci Family Workshop

Step into the mind of Leonardo da Vinci in this hands-on family workshop for one adult and one child. Inspired by our NEW da Vinci exhibit, participants will explore how curiosity, observation, and creativity drive invention.

Families will work together to build and test a working catapult, engineer a balloon-powered car racer, and brainstorm, sketch, and prototype an original invention of their own.

During the two-hour experience, families will experiment, problem-solve, and invent just like da Vinci. See how art, science, and engineering are connected. No prior experience is needed, just bring imagination and a willingness to tinker.

After the da Vinci Family Workshop, guests can explore Leonardo da Vinci: Machines in Motion and continue their discovery.
