Curious Kids Preschool
Monthly STEAM enrichment for preschoolers
It’s never too early to engage your curious preschoolers in science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM). Feel free to join your young scientist as they make predictions, test for results, and share their findings. Each class has an engaging science theme from dinosaurs to sound waves with developmentally appropriate activities designed to encourage exploration and nurture curiosity.

- Monthly themes connect to literature with hands-on activities
- Parents may accompany their child during the workshop, or take a break and enjoy MOSI
- Program is located in the Center for Learning next to the main museum building
- Programs are held on Wednesdays, 10am-11:30am
- Pre-registration and payment are required at least two weeks in advance

Cancellation Policy
Refunds for homeschool programs are only available before the registration deadline, so that your spot can be given to others on the waitlist. To request a refund, please email your request and reservation details to reservations@mosi.org
All registrations subject to availability. MOSI reserves the right to cancel classes that have not met the minimum enrollment. Students will be placed in an alternative class when possible. If MOSI cancels a class, payment will be fully refunded.

Curious Kids: Weather Watchers (Ages 3-5)

Is it sunny, cloudy, rainy, or snowy today? In this class, little learners explore weather patterns through songs, crafts, and hands-on science.
We’ll make our own weather tools and pretend to be meteorologists for the day!

Curious Kids: Animal Explorers (Ages 3-5)

Roar, hop, and slither as we explore animals big and small! Kids will learn about habitats, animal coverings like fur and scales, and even match
tracks to creatures. We’ll investigate animal sounds, build nests, and pretend to be our favorite animals.

Curious Kids: Space Adventurers (Ages 3-5)

3, 2, 1…blast off into space! Preschoolers will learn about the moon, stars, and planets through imaginative play, stories, and hands-on activities. We’ll build rockets, make crater art, and explore what it’s like to be an astronaut.

Curious Kids: Sink or Float? (Ages 3-5)

Curious Kids: Magnets and Movement (Ages 3-5)

What sticks? What moves? Little hands will explore the invisible force of magnets and investigate how things push and pull. Kids will play with ramps, rolling toys, and magnets to discover the science of motion in a fun and active way.
