Curious Kids Preschool
Monthly STEAM enrichment for preschoolers
It’s never too early to engage your curious preschoolers in science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM). Feel free to join your young scientist as they make predictions, test for results, and share their findings. Each class has an engaging science theme from dinosaurs to sound waves with developmentally appropriate activities designed to encourage exploration and nurture curiosity.

- Monthly themes connect to literature with hands-on activities
- Parents may accompany their child during the workshop, or take a break and enjoy MOSI
- Programs are held on Wednesdays, 10am-11:30am
- Pre-registration and payment are required at least two weeks in advance

- Standard Program fee: $15/class
- MOSI Members Program fee: $10/class
- Missed a registration deadline? Email reservations@mosi.org, additional fees apply
Cancellation Policy
Refunds for homeschool programs are only available before the registration deadline, so that your spot can be given to others on the waitlist. To request a refund, please email your request and reservation details to reservations@mosi.org
All registrations subject to availability. MOSI reserves the right to cancel classes that have not met the minimum enrollment. Students will be placed in an alternative class when possible. If MOSI cancels a class, payment will be fully refunded.

Curious Kids: Sink or Float? (Ages 3-5)

Time to make a splash! Young scientists will predict, test, and observe which objects sink or float in water. It’s a hands-on way to explore cause and
effect, make guesses, and learn like real scientists.

Curious Kids: Bug Bonanza (Ages 3-5)

Creep, crawl, and flutter into the world of insects! Kids will explore bug habitats, count legs and wings, and pretend to be bees and butterflies. With bug hunts, magnifiers, and crafts, we’ll go on a tiny adventure!

Curious Kids: Our Five Senses (Ages 3-5)

Let’s see, smell, hear, taste, and touch! In this sensory science class, preschoolers explore their five senses with hands-on experiments and playful
games. We’ll make texture boards, smell mystery jars, and listen like scientists.

Curious Kids: Magnets and Movement (Ages 3-5)

What sticks? What moves? Little hands will explore the invisible force of magnets and investigate how things push and pull. Kids will play with ramps, rolling toys, and magnets to discover the science of motion in a fun and active way.
