Skywatch returns as a MOSI member exclusive event! Join our space experts to enjoy an evening of space exploration through MOSI’s telescopes!
Skywatch will take place in Science Park and on top of the Dome.
Registration is required and space is limited.
The winter sky objects continue to dazzle through the new year with Saturn, Jupiter, the moon, and the M45, the Pleiades or “Seven Sisters” leading the show. The Orion Nebula and the Hyades star cluster will round out the night.

Spend a fun filled evening at MOSI exploring the cosmos! Gaze into the night sky with telescopes, learn the stories behind the constellations in the Saunders Planetarium. The camp-in includes the Astronomy merit badge workshop, light snack, sleeping at MOSI, light breakfast, a MOSI Fun Patch for scouts, and general admission to MOSI after the event. At least 1 adult chaperone required per 10 children.

The Computer Coding Class will teach the students the basics of Computer coding such as fixed and flexible sequences, algorithms, loops and bugs. This course will use the Tynker app. on the 4H I-pads and several hands on activities using Shpero’s, Ollies and EV3 Robots to show the students how to create their own computer codes to complete coding task.
