Skywatch returns as a MOSI member exclusive event! Join our space experts to enjoy an evening of space exploration through MOSI’s telescopes!
Skywatch will take place in Science Park and on top of the Dome.
Registration is required and space is limited.
The skies for December yield many familiar objects that were present for November’s event, but now is joined by the Orion constellation and the opportunity to observe M42, the Orion Nebula.

From concept to premiere, travel the path of a filmmaker as you bring your ideas to life with storyboards, actors, props, and locations. Teams will plan, shoot, edit, and premier their own film.

Learn about the history of aviation as we take a look at gliders, airplanes, helicopters, and drones and how they impact our daily lives. We’ll even try our hand at flying through a test course!
Get ready science sleuths for there is a crime to solve. Grab your tools, love puzzles, and figure out who committed the crime. Type blood evidence from suspects. Examine fingerprints from a crime scene. Use DNA technology to establish which suspect was at the crime scene. You will need more than your thinking cap to figure out this caper.
Put on your Sherlock Holmes-style hat, pick up your magnifying glass, and join us for a homeschool class full of perplexing puzzles, enigmas, and intrigue. Crack coded messages, search for clues, and bring the mischievous law-breaker to justice!
