Camp hours are 9 am – 4 pm. Extended hours are available from 7 am – 9 am and/or 4 pm – 6 pm for an additional fee.
Let’s gobble back in time to the age of prehistoric turkeys, the dinosaurs. Create fossil prints by using ingredients found in the kitchen. Create dinosaur skin and compare it to your own. Learn what coprolite is and how paleontologists use it to determine what they ate.
Have you ever wanted to make an Ice Bomb, Super Fertilizer, Glow Stick, or Balloon within Minecraft? Then this is the camp for you! Take advantage of Minecraft’s robust Chemistry Lab functions to construct elements, compounds, and other products that you can use to gain an advantage during gameplay.
Tired of the same old turkey and stuffing? Are you looking to ramp up your Thanksgiving holiday? Then, join MOSI for three days of fun as we celebrate Turkey Day. Build a catapult to launch the special bird. Experiment with cranberries and learn about the chemistry hidden within. Create a vehicle to protect a Thanksgiving dinner sent to Mars. These three days will fly by with fun.
All registrations subject to camp availability. MOSI reserves the right to combine or cancel classes that have not met the minimum enrollment. Campers or participants will be placed in an alternative class when possible. If MOSI cancels a class, payment will be fully refunded. For special circumstances, a 75% credit or refund will be granted for written requests made 14 or more days before the first day of the camp or program session. A 50% credit or refund will be granted for written requests made 13 or fewer days prior to the first day of the camp or program session. No refunds will be granted on or after the first day of the camp or program session.
