Program Time: 2 – 4 p.m.
Junior Science Adventure Days, Tuesday or Wednesday (Ages 6-8)
Mini Science Adventure Days, Tuesday (Ages 3-5)
Explore the world in the Junior and Mini Science Adventure Days program. Children will learn age appropriate science concepts in the fun hands-on environment of a MOSI classroom. Make predictions, test for your results, and share your finding with the whole class. Pour, mix, measure, make friends and smile. Register for programs at www.campfun.org.

2009 SCHOOL BREAK PROGRAMS
Bring two snacks and wear clothing that can get messy. Bring a lunch or buy one from teh MOSI Cafe.
Extended hours are available from 7 - 9 a.m. and 4 - 6 p.m. for an additional $10 per week.
Boot Camp Adventures
For Kindergarten - 5th Graders
November 11, 2009 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Take off on an adventure featuring wilderness challenges in
MOSI's Backwoods. Use a compass, survival skills, and your
head to play a variety of exciting nature-themed games. Find your
way through an obstacle course, play capture the flag and charge
into a "night" battle of laser tag. Bring two snacks and wear clothing
that can get messy. Bring lunch or buy one from the MOSI
Café. Extended hours available from 7 - 9 a.m. and 4 - 6 p.m. for
an additional $5 per day. Preregistration is required.

Camp Turkey
For Kindergarten - 4th Graders
November 23, 24, and 25th 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Be the Thanksgiving Know-It-All at the dinner table! Go in the lab
and experiment on your favorite foods by freezing them and finding
out what makes them yummy. Explore the way Native
Americans prospered by making artifacts and crafts and learning
their hunting techniques. Celebrate this Thanksgiving the MOSI
way by launching a turkey with a catapult.

Worlds of Imagination
For Kindergarten - 4th Graders
December 21 - 23, 2009 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Bring your imagination to life. Use the art of pretending to create
a superhero battle or a theatrical show. Create new inventions
out of LEGOS and other fun building materials. Draw, paint and
sculpt masterpieces or action figures you can take home.

Virtual Gaming
For 5th - 8th Graders
December 21 - 23, 2009 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Use online technologies such as Teen Second Life® and Role
Playing Game software to create stories, avatars, and new worlds
with your creativity. Play game simulations on the computer and
the XBOX 360®. Experiment with mixing reality with video game
worlds and produce a mystery to be solved via the Internet.

Planet X!
For Kindergarten - 4th Graders
December 28 - 31, 2009 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Welcome to Planet X, the strangest planet in the galaxy. What
sorts of strange aliens will you find? Use robot probes and build a
space base during your exploration of this wonderful new planet.
Go on special missions to find alien treasures, decode their language
and taste their slimy snacks. Boldly go where no MOSI
camper has gone before.

Kung Fu Movie Making
For 5th - 8th Graders
December 28 - 31, 2009 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
So you want to make your own martial arts movie? Learn the
techniques to staging exciting but safe fight scenes from stunt
coordinators. Use special effects and build movie props that
break with dramatic flair. Explore the lives of Jackie Chan, Bruce
Lee and recreate scenes from anime series like Avatar, the Last
Air Bender. Celebrate our movie premiere with a taste of China.
