In Dinosaurs! The Exhibition guests will come face-to-face with the enormous beasts that roamed the Earth 65 million years ago. Learn what dinosaurs ate, how they lived and become a “Dino-Detective” digging up fossils and discovering clues about these prehistoric creatures. Exhibition ends Sept. 7, 2008. Learn more

BACK TO SCHOOL HEALTH & SAFETY FAIR

Saturday, August 9, 2008 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. - MOSI Grand lobby
Learn wellness and child safety tips from community partners and get information on local children’s resources, afterschool programs, tutors, children’s retailers and more! The first 50 kids into the Fair will receive a FREE goody-bag filled with cool supplies. Guests can also enjoy the Kids FUN Zone (by AmazinFlates) with an inflatable obstacle course, arts and crafts, face painting, live entertainment, and FREE giveaways (while supplies last)! This event is FREE to MOSI members.

Back to School Fair guests can enjoy MOSI exhibition galleries, Kids In Charge! and Dinosaurs! The Exhibition for only $10 per person (children under 2 admitted FREE)! *IMAX® Dome Theatre films require an additional fee.

MOSI HOMESCHOOL EDUCATORS OPEN HOUSE
Monday, August 11, 2008 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
The event offers homeschool families FREE self-guided tours of over 450 hands-on MOSI exhibits including Disasterville featuring Bay News 9 WeatherQuest, The Amazing You, Kids In Charge! The Children’s Science Center as well as The Saunders Planetarium. Highlights include a preview of MOSI Homeschool Education programs for the 2008-2009 school year, science demonstrations throughout the day and a 20% discount on MOSI memberships with on-site registration. Guests will also receive discount admission into Dinosaurs! The Exhibition and the IMAX® Dome Theatre.
