SKYWATCH EVENTS

See the universe up-close and personal through MOSI’s telescopes. See craters on the Moon. Watch as another planet’s moons slowly perform a gravitational dance. See stellar nurseries where stars are being formed. See star clusters so far away that light – traveling at 186,000 miles per second – takes tens of thousands of years to make it to your eye. SkyWatch is free and open to the public.

Come look at Mars through MOSI's telescopes! Weather permitting, outside in the Butterfly Garden FREE!

Telescopes begin at Sundown, so times are approximate.

Weather permitting
– clear skies are required to use the telescopes, SkyWatch will be cancelled if it is raining or cloudy.
