National Hispanic Scientist of the Year

MEET THE SCIENTIST DAY

Meet the Scientist Day is held annually in conjunction with the National Hispanic Scientist of the Year Award event. Past honorees have delivered inspiring lectures that not only encourage students to stay in school but assure them that despite their circumstances they can realize their dreams!

On this special day, over 1,000 school children, many from underserved communities, gain access to over 450 MOSI hands-on exhibits including an IMAX Dome Theatre film —which for many is their first-ever visit to a science center.

This event is by invitation only. Media are welcome to attend.
